Kelview University Classes are small group Bible study classes for all adults. Classes vary in nature. Some are lecture style, while some combine video and discussion. Classes are from 8 to 12 weeks in length. Kelview University is an excellent place to take a deeper dive into the Word of God.

"The Theology Program" - Soteriology

Taught by Jerry Berry - Downstairs - Room 130

This course is a study of the nature of salvation and growth in Christ. It will focus on the process and responsibilities of salvation from the standpoint of God and man by studying what the Scriptures say and by looking for input from the history of the church. We will study the pivotal doctrine of justification that was the central issue of the Reformation. Much time will be spent attempting to understand the ongoing debate between God’s sovereignty in salvation and man’s responsibility. We will also look at what it means to grow in Christ-likeness.

"Revival Through Prayer" - Old Fashioned Wednesday Evening Prayer Service - Based on II Chronicles 7:14

II Chronicles 7:14, "If My people which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Intercessory prayer is a prayer for others. An intercessor is one who takes the place of another and pleads another's case. It can be defined as "holy, believing, persevering prayer whereby someone pleads with God on behalf of another or others who desperately need God's intervention." This class will be a time of earnest prayer for God's hand to be on our nation, church, family and friends who are unsaved.

Let’s be honest. We all want to see the people around us come to a saving relationship with Jesus. It’s the DNA that was established in us when we came to know Christ. The problem is we feel either too inadequate or too intimated to do anything about it. People look desperately for ways to become more effective in this area, but often times give up. In this study we look at personal evangelism in a new light. We will remove the awkwardness and anxiety that is typically associated with speaking out. Because the fact is, you are most effective when you are real and non-threatening. Learn how to take natural steps that will help you draw others to Jesus and genuinely love others into a relationship without being obnoxious or pushy.
